While I agree with the sentiment and context of the post, the bottom line is Snodgrass looked shattered..... in the post match interview on Sky he said he was totally f**ked.

Elmander also looked shattered....... Redmond faded from the game late......... and we got outplayed by a team off a midweek hard extra time game......

While I agree there may be experts at Colney, we are not using subs like any other top class manager is using them.

What do we know that they dont?

(1) It has the effect of overusing certain players.

(2) It doesnt keep enough players involved and match fit.

If players come on at 60-65 mins they can play 30-35 mins which gives them a chance to do something.

Bringing a player on for 5-10 mins must be a bit s**tty for the player.
Even worse letting players play till they drop when you have quality replacements on the bench is not good.

We have also had a lot of injuries this season.....some are obviously just unlucky but maybe some players are maybe a bit overused.
