Almost certainly stress-related and may ultimately require some medication.
Caused by fight or flight reaction by the body, when there is no actual threat, yet the body still releases adrenaline causing the increased heart speed.
Try top avoid excess alcohol or foods containing lots of additives and remember that these bouts CANNOT result in death as you would simply pass out before that happened.
Try to get lots of fresh air and exercise if you can, as the concerns causing these bouts, will be less of a problem if your body has 'happy hormones' in the system.
If it happens again, breathe deeply and slowly for a couple of minutes until you can get to the bottom of your breath again, Might require beta-blockers as a safety net, if it continues but the main thing is to recognise this for what it is?.the body tricking itself into increasing your heart rate.
Learn to manage it and you'll be fine.
