sorry to hear that.
I think there is a lot to be said for not having pets.
People who haven't experienced it probably think it is a bit ott to grieve so much for an animal.
When I see people with dogs I can't help feeling sorry for them because they will feel it eventually and will in most cases get another pet/dog to relieve the grief. and so the cycle repeats.
It has been 18 months since I had my pooch put down and I still miss him. I have fought hard against getting another pet for the time being. Till I think i'm ready for it.
