It sounds like you and I have the same hobby. I actually worked for the Met Office for a year in the early 90's. Until I realised it was part of the MOD, and was not the job I dreamt about as a kid.

I agree, it would be great if we could have a winter like the olden days :-).

That said, it's actually snowing where I live right now (Washington State).
