Yet just about every player he signs is on stupid money, the type of dealing that could ruin a club
Eg Stelios to liverpool for ?1million fell through. Probably cos liverpool wouldn't pay what Bolton were, which suggests Stelios is on a wedge
Luckilly it has worked, but despite the success, Bolton are in debt because of it though, and they also have a very small squad because of this. Hence why you don't really see them splashing out on players (about a million tops)
Fair play it's worked, but it's very risky if it turns sour for them and then went down one year with a 20 man squad on 20 odd k a week
