Really? Frankly if we end up selling half this team and rebuilding we will be out of it for another nine years.
Show some resolve and tell Rangers to f*ck off. Tell Wigan to f*ck off.
It's all very well saying we don't need to sell but the actions we have seen so far do not back up those words and the signs are clear for everyone - here are our players, come and get them and make as derogratory an offer as you like.
ffs, we are not in the position of having a fire-sale so why is it starting to look like we are.
It's pissing me off - the club should come out categorically and say 'hands-off' and then slap a rediculous fee on Ashton's head to ward off all but the over-monied and stupid.
And before anyone says that the players have the ultimate say - bollocks, they are contracted to the club. End of.
