Just back from the game.
Not read any posts since Friday night so forgive me for WW2.
Overall happy with 3pts. Eases our position and gives CH more time. Need to repeat this against Fulham and Swansea at home , try and be more positive against WBA (a) next weekend and to not sit down and die at Anfield on Wed night like we did against Man City.
First half was good. Much better tempo. Hoolahan was hungry. Ellmanader and Hooper combined well.
Second half was flat, and we sat back too much. Palace though did pump up the long ball a lot which isn't easy to play against.
Really should have wrapped the game up at half time tbh.
Players-
Ruddy: Solid.
Martin: Iffy again. He's not in great form. Worrying out of position for some dodgy moments 2nd half.
Bassong/Bennet: OK both. Bassong not match fit.
Olson: Brilliant. What a player we have here.
Hoolahan: Great 1st half. Totally shagged 2nd half. - see Bassong. Although understandable.
Fer: good game
Redders: Good attacking threat but cant shoot.
Ele: Good man for holding it up etc Cant last 90 mins.
Hooper: Love Hooper. Lethal. Just get him the ball!
Howson: - MOM for me. Quality. Best of the ex-leeds boys by a country mile.
Becchio - not enough time.
BJ - fortunately he didn't get long enough to screw anything up.
Atmosphere wasn't that bad. I have seen worse. It was just a nervy 2nd half.
Canary Callers: Mostly Daft c**ts.
Someone behind him said: "sit down Pony Tullis".

- Yes. He also has bulked up a bit, looks fitter and sharper. More to come I think ! (n/m) (NCFC) - Pit, Dec 1, 13:41:42
- Yeah, that's probably the key thing (NCFC) - Mecagoenti, Dec 1, 13:43:25
- Agree. Which means RvW might have to wait to get back into first 11 (NCFC) - Pit, Dec 1, 13:48:29
- Nope, play him in either the Wes or Elmander position from yesterday. (NCFC) - trafford_canary, Dec 1, 14:00:53
- yes possible. Ele adds the strength/height though. (n/m) (NCFC) - Pit, Dec 1, 14:56:34
