Any striker will tell you they prefer a direct winger who puts in early crosses

over a flashy dribbler who's unpredictable. It stops a goal hanging striker (like Hooper) from having to check his runs so much.

That's why I think we will miss Elliott Bennett so much this season, although Hughton rarely started him on the right hand side.
