Chicago does a few things really well

And those things are sports, drinking & eating. (And shopping, actually)

What sort of food do you like? I've not been to Millers and haven't heard of corner kitchen. There are SO many restaurants and bars here though.

For shopping, you are near michigan avenue and basically the mile of that street all north of the river is shops so you'll find converse boots very easily.

Any interest in seeing any sports? Can point you in the right direction if so..
