Pardew's comments smack of starting to tap him up
They were interested before but didn't take the risk. They may well be in for him come the end of the season.
In reality, if he continues as he is then I think we will struggle to keep him if we continue as we are and just scrape safety. Another reason why allowing Hughton;s tenure to continue could be damaging in my opinion because under him we are not going to do much more than just scrape safety.
If, however, we have a resurgent mid section/second half to the season and have the feel of a club on the up then i think we could probably keep leroy for a bit longer!
