A more possession-based game, yes, but there's more to it than that
We're very good at keeping possession in harmless areas but not very good at creating chances. I don't mind if, 30 seconds after we have the ball on the edge of the oppo box, it's back with Ruddy, because of course they can't score if we have the ball and we can begin again.
Long term, though, if that's what happens most of the time, and we continue to create as little and as labouredly as at present, I can't believe we won't fail. We are rarely dangerous: we rarely have teams stretched: we're relying on oppo errors rather than our own abilities.
