Worst thing you've ever eaten thread I missed

Working and living in China & Japan had many experiences of eating weird stuff but one of the strangest was in a place called Hexian where a chef (I use the term lightly) came into the s**tty room I'd been taken for lunch and placed a large wooded chopping board in the middle of the table and went out again.

Five minutes later he came back in with a pigs head (cooked - sort of) placed it on the board and proceeded to chop it to bits like I chop food when thinking of Ipswich.

When he's finished there were bits of brain, ear, snout, eyes etc all over the place. As the guest at the informal gathering I was presented with a piece of the head and they sat back waiting for me to start (as is the custom) so I had to put the piece in my mouth and smile so they could get started.

I've eaten live stuff and other weird s**t but that meal will stay with me 'till I shrug orf this mortal coil.
