Old Trafford Tonight
For us, our shortest away trip - max 2 miles there and back, but quite frankly all a bit crap.
Game observations: Never a penalty. Looked like we were playing for a point - it's a Cup game! Midfield often over-run, Bradley was nowhere, no forward movement, and at times when we had the ball all 10 out-field players had their backs to the opposition goal. When we were on the ball, as we did at the start of the second half, we were too slow, not direct, and on the break-down left Utd on the attack.
Hope Snod is OK, looked a bit worrying at the time.
Support from the Away End was patchy at best. Utd scarves and the stupid half-and-half scarves, ridiculous. I must admit though we struggled to join in with the 'we support our local team' chant ...
Not a game we expected to win, but expected more of a showing (the Ref and Linesman on our side didn't help our cause). Saturday will be no easier, but in league points we need a good November, scoring some goals, otherwise David McNally may have a managerial decision to make.
Safe travelling back all, see you at the Blue Camp on Saturday for another dose ...
