Ref waves for Ricky to take throw and then extends his left arm out towards Bellamy and other Cardiff players, as RvW takes the throw. He is not only looking 90 degrees away from the goal, but seemingly engaged in a conversation with Cardiff players. I'm not sure he saw exactly what happened.
