This new drinking laws thing

Actually I am beginning to get a bit worried about the possibility of more binge drinking when I read ridiculous comments like this:

"At last in this country adults are going to be treated like grown-ups and given a little bit of choice about having a social life beyond 11 o'clock at night
Mark Hastings
British Beer and Pub Association"

Mr. Hastings is clearly inferring that social life = alcohol.

That's a bit sad.
