People trying to find more errors in Hughton with this Murphy debate
I personally feel he is protecting the kid by letting him continue his development in the un 25 squad and league cup games. He didn't have to involve Murphy on Tuesday night and got no credit in doing so. Sounds to me that some fans are just looking at any kind of negative aspect to use against him.
The last thing you want to do is demoralise a young player by playing him in big matches where he want have the chance to shine. It has to be a gradual one to benefit him and us.
That's my thought anyway, no doubt I will get stick for having an opinion.
