If you want to "make" spirits, you need a still.

Two problems with that:

A) not legal
B) if you don't do it right you will end up with all sorts of exotic and toxic alcohols in your booze as well as ethanol, and that s**t'll get you where you want to go alright, but it'll probably f**k up you liver and kidderleys and send you blind.
