In the case of a goalscorer, I think managers will take a punt regardless of individual form. Deano is easily good enough for the prem: scouts/visiting managers will be able to see what he could do if he were not in such an abject side.
The niggler for me is not that we'll lose Ashton - it's that i really don't want Nigel to have the money to spend.
