I have read 2 review in newspapers by film critics and they have .........

both slammed it and given it out of a possible 5 stars just 1. They both went on about the lack of plot. I beleive though that these guys were both in their forties and to whom Star Wars does not hold a special magic as it does to people like me who grew up with Star Wars and got really excited thinking about what Star Wars figures they were going to get for Xmas.
