on Tuesday, my colleague asked me if I wanted to go out for lunch. I said I was tired and was going to stay in.

He did a nervous laugh and went 'fine'

It was Friday by the time he spoke to me again, to tell me how bad his headaches have been and how he's looking forward to the weekend

I had to put up with being sent to Coventry for 3 days before he just started talking to me again and assuming I'd be fine about it

9 years I've worked with him. A 3 day silence because I said no to lunch?

Relating to your idea, yes, I'd prefer to be the gentleman, no matter how unfair or hard done to I've been

I hated every minute of it, but I'm looking foward to working with him again instead of falling out over f**k all

It's 5 games into the season, it's f**k all in terms of what's left

Lets all try and be a bit better personally, and we might see the fruits of that

Failing that, we could just fall out with each other about nothing, and watch where that gets us
