When I was younger I was let go once.......

At the time it seemed like a disaster....... but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. Im not just saying that, its 100% true.
It wont make you feel better at this moment but looking back you will understand.

Andy, you are obviously a bright guy so my advice is to do your own thing. Start up a little business.
Nobody can fire you again!
Think of the things you enjoy and turn that into something where you can earn a few quid.
If its something you are passionate about you will enjoy the whole journey.
