the 39 games represents the extra game which would be played abroad if the money men have their way

the 11 players on each team and game of 2 halves is also beyond obvious

it was a subtle way of making the point that money in football is destroying the beautiful game. so many clubs so desperate to stay in the premier league playing not to lose, resulting in a lack of goals and entertainment
