away tactics.....
Since I've been watching city (1978) there haven't been many managers that have been prepared to go for it on a regular basis in away games:
Stringer
Walker
Lambert
you could expect the above to provide the away support with some entertainment.
What Houghton does is not so far away from many other manager's; remember Worthington's away tactics?
Also worth remembering, in the wilderness years of being outside the top league, how often did teams come to Carrow and set-up not to get beat before any thoughts of attack?

- The 3 managers you listed there are the most successful in our history. Coincidence? (n/m) (NCFC) - Drinklebells, Sep 15, 11:47:12
