has to give home team defences a massive confidence boost. Add to that the certain fact that they know we can't string more than 2 passes together and teams like Spurs, who are destined to play well anyway, play even better against us in the knowledge that we are most likely only going to have one attempt on goal as happened yesterday and bring on midfielders when we go behind rather than ?5m forwards..
I'll wager every team in the Prem. prefers to play against negative teams than positive ones.....
