He can't win though, can he?
He doesn't have the cache and backing Lambert earned, so why would he feel confident in dropping a star player? Look at the ire directed at him for dropping Snoddy last week, before it transpired he was injured. Either way, he can't win.
He made mistakes yesterday but it /was/ working for 20 minutes or so. I don't want to see Howson on the wing again and Fer should be played in his best position (likewise Redmond - Hoots played him as a seciond striker at Brum, no reason he can't do it here), but he's allowed to f**k up from time to time. Even Lambert did with us (and still does with Villa).
