due to his combined skill and pace. It would be dangerous playing such a high line against a player in that position.

Meanwhile it would also force the opposition CM'S to push back in order to help their CB's pick him up in the hole which is a difficult player position to man mark. This would allow our midfield to press a bit higher while also creating far more space for RVW.

It also allows us to play a natural left winger who can hug the touchline, forcing the opposition right back to move out which again will open up space.

We both agree that Redmond lacks the killer pass and this could be frustrating at times, but at least it's a positive approach that should open up weak, stubborn defences.
