Is it fair to say that the reason for the uber tilt is because

many people had become quite excited at the type of player we were signing, and were genuinely optimistic that we'd see a bit more quality from us this season? And then that happens!

I think that's where I am.

It was no worse than some of our away no shows of last season - in some ways it was better, we actually had some shots!

I was really f**ked off because it was like crashing down from a signings-induced crack high. In previous seasons losing away was par for the course and almost accepted because we hadn't spent much money etcetc.

Now we expect more. I'm sure McNally does too.
