WHY WANTING A NEW MANAGER IS NOT AN OVER_REACTION
One of the main problems here is the whole terminology thing: 'Hughton out', 'Boot the Hoot' etc. just sounds so aggressive and boorish.
This is exaggerated when you consider that you are dealing with probably the most pleasant and dignified manager in a pretty tawdry and undignified business.
However, despite my tremendous admiration for Hughton as a person, I (and I think many other City fans) am driven to distraction by his obsessive concern for the strengths of the opposition. Fair enough against the top sides but we have seen repeatedly that he does not have what it takes to get his team to attack and defeat mediocre/poor opponents even at home.
Playing up front for Hughton must be one of the worst jobs in the game.
I am just so pissed off with it. He kept us up..JUST! As a lot of people pointed out yesterday our final position of 11th was immensely flattering basically because of a couple of late wins after basically four months of totally dismal football. That's all he's done for us. We are currently a disgrace away from home and I can see no end to it.
I don't think he is helped by his two assistants, neither of whom has any great credentials and I honestly believe that even if they managed to just about keep us up again it will be another season of dull, dull, dull football. Have his supporters on here forgotten those games where we couldn't even manage a shot?
I'd rather see him go now than in November, by which time I fully expect us to be in the bottom five at best.
Nice guy, for sure, but under him we are NOT 'moving to the next level'.
