support a weak argument, which is how you're using them. Everton had lots of possession, and struggled to find a way to use it to attack. By and large, it was very good defensive display. The weakness was the link between midfield and attack. MD says that Fellaini nullified Wes, whose job it was to supply Wolf. I thought Wes just had a bad game, defaulting to his "spare a shekel for a poor ex-leper" dance, ending with giving the ball away There was a spell in the second half when we looked really stumped for attackiing ideas, but other than that, it was a good perfomance.
