I think teams are reticent to loan out quality youngsters to play a bit part....

They want them to get regular football on loan really.

I'd prefer someone like toivonen or quags who can play as a striker but are also equally adept in the second striker/link man role. Incidentally I don't think either of them will come so don't know who it would be.

Although there could be every chance that fer could yet play that role with tetty and johnson behind.

I genuinely think there will be ocassions when we play 2 up top this season too, although not often.

Also agree we could do with another quality centre half. As committed and adequate as he is I don't think Martin is great there.
