Hughton's no fool. He knew our strikers were not up to the job, hence the more defensive style of play. I loved us scoring s**tloads in L1 and the Champ, but we would have not stayed in the PL for long playing Lamboesque footy. The wheels were starting to come off during Lambo's time anyway - We turned to s**t after the Swansea away game win under him. The only highlights were the Spurs win and Arsenal draw after that. So the 0-5 f**king at Fulham at the start of last season was no surprise really. Bassong came in and saved our season after that.
