ran off when I liberated them - swiftly followed by the cat I should add.
He's been efficient at Mole catching in recent years but only caught two this year - much to the annoyance of my lawn.
When we had domestic rabbits both got really, really sick, almost overnight, found them next morning on their last legs and I had to dispatch them - was very unpleasant (I put them in a carrier bag and waited) *shudder*
