First home game and the turnstiles (Boer war?)
So, season ticket came and with it lots of info on how it works. ..... and club clearly worried about the first time they have 20+ thousand trying to use them for the first time. So, want us to arrive early and going to do a raffle for a free ST refund for those in the ground before 2.30. Turnstile folks can't let you in if computer say no - you have to go and find a 'customer services supervisor' outside the ground. Methinks that could get interesting. Colours on the reader display change according to what sort of ticket you've got.
Couple of other factoids:
They are multi year - only change if you change your seat
Non-league matches added - presumably that means cup tickets you buy are credited to your ticket, possibly the same if you lend, for instance an under21 to an adult and need to upgrade (if you don't bother, the colours on the reader 'alert' the person on the turnstile.
Also, you have to 'insert them' , hopefully any which way as there's nothing on the ticket to say which end goes in and no visible chip or clue. Hope they don't get wiped by mobile phones......
Saturday 17th could be fun!
