Andrew Surman on Radio Solent ahead of Bournemouth's cup game against Pompey.
He said he thought the writing was on the wall for him last season, as Chris Hughton 'likes a settled side', so it's difficult for fringe players at Norwich to work their way into the first team, more so now that Hughton has spent ?25m on new players.
He said he felt that a loan move was the best thing for him so that he can play regular first team football - he was disappointed not to have been as involved at Norwich last season, feels he is 'a Premiership player' and had hoped to build on his Premiership experience this year. Either way, he feels like he has another nine years or so left in the game, so hopes playing for Bournemouth will kickstart his career.
