Is it not just a tiny bit worrying
that the pre-season results and performances bear an uncanny resemblance to quite a lot of our performances last season?
Im not going to panic about it or anything but would we not all feel a bit more comfortable if we had comfortably rolled over Brighton and Cambridge with RVW and Hooper bagging a couple of goals each and confidence high.
Our last 3 friendlies are all against pretty good teams. Its quite possible we won't win any of these and whilst i know results don't matter winning is a habit and we could go into the season not having won since our first pre-season game.
Whats more of a worry is the injuries and the number of potential first team players who are going to be lagging behind in match fitness terms but I personally would feel a bit more confident if I saw us put in at least a couple of decent pre-season displays.
