PM: Stevo-in-Cloggieland , or wrather who know about mobile networks

my company are changing mobile provider back to vodafone after 3 years with 02..... 02 coverage where i live has been good, but vodaphone is very poor....

is there some sort of booster or something I can buy as a consumer (on expenses!) to boost the mobile signal in my house?

I've tried the usual smell in the mini-USB, no improvement.
