Good for him

I grew up near Luton (and yes, it is indeed a s**thole), and every single other kid at my school was Luton, or Liverpool fans. Unfortunately, both of those teams were particularly good while I was in middle school, while Norwich were constantly near the bottom of the 1st Division.

The only time I ever got bullied at school was Monday morning, after Norwich had lost again. That is why, when I see us win in Munich or get promotion, or any other amazing moment to be a City supporter, I think "you owe me that Norwich"!

I hope you son get to have those great moments as well.
