The evening news fly-sheet says we have signed a premiership player
on loan.

The EDP web site says he can not get into Wigans team.

So is he a premiership player because his club are in that league or as he
has not had a game and has not played in the premiership can he only claim
to be a Championship player.

I would go with the former , but not entirely sure
