I think it depends on the interpretation

If DRS is just to avoid the howlers, then it shouldn't have been given. The fact that LBW decisions often stay with umpire's call supports using it in this way.

If DRS is to give the correct decision, then it looked out to me. Noise/deflection supported it. I know snicko isn't used, but it supported the fact that ball hit the bat (i.e. the noise the 3rd umpire used to make the decision)
