I've always found with my two boys...

...now 6 and 8, that simply hailing Norwich as the only real team in the world has definitely helped. Then it was kit, merchandise, stuffed toys, sheets pillows and duvets, etc. I'm in Tokyo so they only get to see games that I've recorded and played back to them on a Sunday, or watch highlights together, etc. I managed to get them to a pre-season friendly against a Man Utd XI a few years back when we were back one summer then the creme dela creme was on my boy's actual 6th bday, he was a mascot vs. Cardiff and kicked the ball around with Holty, met all the players, etc. I still have a desktop wallpaper of him with Holty and Simeon in the dressing room. It was best couple of hundred quid I ever spent. He still tells his mates he was a pro footballer for a day. Easier for me coz we are in Tokyo and not surrounded by other kids shoving other teams down their throats but I grew up in Bromley surrounded by kids supporting the Gooners, Spurs, Palace, Millwall, etc. but I knew I followed the greatest team in the world, so nothing else mattered...now my boys feel the same...
