I see where you're coming from, but it didn't work very well with Misbie
Since I experience games only via the good offices of the internet, it's impossible to comment from experience, but my impression is that we have fundamental problems in keeping the ball and delivering it to the front two. And we have two tactics long since worked out by opposition managers: lump to Hucks or lump to Ashton.
