Quick analysis of the comments on the story on nu.nl seems that, unlike Toivonen, the fans

really rate Alderweireld, and are also happy with the feel and understanding that the Premiership is his logical next step.

Of course, as always some think Norwich is a step too low and that we are a smaller club because we aren't in the CL and not much chance of that happening soon either.

Quite a few use the examples of van der Saar, Krul, Vorm etc as success stories of the Dutch in "smaller" clubs in Holland (interestingly all GKs though).

However, what really brought home the strides we've made were the several complaints about Alderweireld only going for the money. Leaving Ajax for Norwich for the money. LOL. Never thought I'd hear that! And also pointing out that our budget, despite being a smaller club than the big 6, is 50% higher than the highest budget in the Dutch league.

We're Fer-kin loaded!
