Amstrad CPC 464s were the same

I remember my parents buying some drawing package for it (which took at least 6 discs and probably well over half an hour to load!), which I didn't really master because the keyboard and joystick weren't really much use.

The manual said that it would work best with a 'mouse'.

Of course we couldn't afford one of those, so for years I wondered what one of these 'mouse' things were.

Sigh, what a refreshingly tech free childhood it was back then...
