FAO Cityforlife, re your cat. Not much reassurance I know but some times cat's just up
and bugger off to a new family. You never own a cat, just share your house with it.
MiJulie had the one she's got now just tip up from nowhere. Was obviously hungry and didn't seem local so we fed her and she's remained ever since (much to the alarm I imagine of the local vole and baby rabbit population).
We named her Lucky
