indeed arguably it is our success (and that of Swansea) that has increased the appeal of buying from the lower leagues for other newly promoted clubs and thus pushed up the values.

If the links are to be believed we will sign a couple of dutch full internationals and possibly two swedish and a beligian international as well. These players should actually not be so much of a risk as buying from the lower leagues in England as they are proven at the top level. I think perhaps the biggest risk though is the team spirit and in that regard you just have to hope Hoot has done some homework on these players and that they are good characters. that is certainly an area where Holt will be missed as he was clearly a big, big personality in that dressing room. From what i've seen so far I think Ricky seems like a nice lad with a good attitude. Not so sure about Toivenon but then tweets and quotes from agents can give the wrong impression!
