Could gazump us. I really can't say I'd be that fussed as the whole situation has smacked a bit of him holding out for a better offer. I don't regard Southsmpton as a better offer in playing terms but they are clearly throwing big money at players this summer.

I just hope their failure to land Wanyama does not see them go for Fer.
