Unbelievable to think that a journeyman striker signed from Shrewsbury would go on to be of my favourite ever players. Thanks for the memories and playing your part in making this club great again.

This move is best for all parties, nice bit of cash for us and he gets to be closer to home.

Holt wouldn't have been happy next year at being 3rd choice at best next year
