There is no way that Ruddy would be considered as No 1 goalie for Chelsea
He is only 3rd choice for ingerland FFS, Chelsea can choose whoever they want worldwide. If he goes there it will be as cover and he would be a fool to do so. Don't forget he was out injured for the majority of the season and the jury is still out as to whether he is still the same goalie as he was prior to his injury - it took a while for him to regain Hoots trust.
