Well, that's the way for a relatively new user to nail their colours to the mast.
Enough specifics in there that you'll either be shown to be well connected, or just another horses**t artist, in quite a short space of time.
Mind you, many transfers = a lot of variables, so a lying attention seeker could easily use that quite well to have a few good guesses, capitalise on the lucky ones that come off, and just wriggle out of the ones that don't stick. "Oh, well, something came up in negotiations," "He got a better offer, don't blame the messenger!"
