Made me laugh the other day when someone posted a link to one of their forums
and in the discussion about Teivonen one of their fans was bemoaning ho embarrassing it was that we might beat them to the signature of a player. I think he may have even used the word tinpot about us!
Possibly a young fan who is not old enough to know any better and thinks they are some kind of premiership giant. Personally I regard Fulham as one of the most tinpot outfits ever to grace the premiership. Although admittedly they have grown their fanbase quite impressively in recent years, they have very few proper fans and their crowds contain a large number of tourists and people who simply can't get in to other London premiership grounds. The fact that they happen to have been in the prem a bit longer than us doesn't change this. Same with Stoke and WBA. Similar sized clubs to us but the former in particular seem to regard themselves as bigger due to the fact they've been in the prem a bit longer.
